The Play Centre Glasgow C.I.C’s primary objective is to provide a one stop shop for our community on issues around social inclusion, delivered through youth clubs, afterschool clubs and family hangouts. Which will provide benefit to families, children, young adults and key workers within the Glasgow area. A one stop shop comprising of a restaurant, family hangout, a soft play centre, project rooms, mentoring/counselling class.
To create an environment where our children and families can thrive. “Nurturing through play”. Our primary objective is to provide a one stop shop for our community, Drumchapel, on issues around social inclusion, delivered through youth clubs, afterschool club and family lounge. Which will provide benefit to families, children, young adults and key workers within the Glasgow area.
This would also serve as a medium to assisting the government tackle the concern of youth delinquencies, vandalism and school absenteeism in our community.
Our vision is to raise Champions and Leaders in a safer, healthier, inclusive and flourishing community.
Mentoring: Using active listening skills, to understand what young people want and what they need. Strategic planning of processes & outcomes using the SMART approach. Inviting young achievers in the society to act as Mentors and role models to the youths encouraging them to be the best in life, whether through skills acquisition, academics, politics, agronomy, or sports.
Capacity building: Through enhancing client attitude, skills development, peer learning, leadership development etc for positive outcomes. Supporting ethnic minorities community into jobs business start-ups, continuing in education and social inclusion.
